Circular needle 10mm (at least 60cm long)
A marker

One complete repetition of the lace pattern not blocked (10sts x 4rows): 14cm x 3cm

Cast on 60sts. Put a marker and close the circle, being careful to not twist.

Knit the first round. Then purl the second. From the third on, do the lace pattern bellow:

round 1: (k1, yo, ssk, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, yo) 6x.
round 2: k
round 3: (k2, yo, ssk, yo, sl1 k2tog psso, yo, k2tog, yo, k1) 6x.
round 4: k.

For a cowl like the one in the picture, repeat rows 1-4 eight times.

To finish: purl a round and knit the next one.

Bind off loosely.
